Therese Heng

Community Catalyst & Creative Producer

“Believes in contributing to the continuum of impact in effecting social change. Keen to explore new trajectories where the community can be active participators in their own built environment. Has a childlike curiousity for the world!”

With a background in Mass Communications and Journalism at Ngee Ann Polytechnic School of Film and Media Studies and Murdoch University, Therese spent the past few years as a Programming and Content Curator. Before joining VIVITA, she was at Playeum, the Children Centre for Creativity that champions children through open-ended self-directed play and creativity by providing innovative and authentic interdisciplinary experiences.

She was also at placemaking studio, Shophouse & Co where she collaborated with other city agencies such as Singapore Tourism Board and Design Singapore Council to activate and revitalize communities in creating inclusive and vibrant experiences to cultivate a strong sense of place. She believes in looking at creative interventions, sustainable strategies and people-centered approaches that link problem-solving sensibilities in unconventional ways.
