Sau Fen worked in the visual arts & cultural sector for more than 15 years. She taught yoga for 3 years and worked in a Buddhist temple for another 3. After all that soul-searching, she decided to focus on her own creative work in 2011 and won a sustainable fashion design competition handcrafting used nylon stockings into woven-to-measure couture gowns. That same year, her sustainable hat label, Heads of State Millinery, won an Asia-wide competition for new creative enterprise concepts. She is a SkillsFuture Fellow, dedicated to teaching and inspiring young and old to embrace the joy of lifelong learning.
